Synopsis
Madlands & Badlands is Eldritch storytelling in the universe of “A Town Called Purgatory.” This dark and patient Weird West eldritch horror podcast Is not a retelling. It’s new characters and new stories that expand beyond what’s already there.
Set among the bones of a town left to the dead – gunslingers, prospectors, and drifters with dangerous secrets keep finding out that the frontier is hiding more than they could imagine – there are dead things and dread things waiting for the next lost soul.
The stories of Madlands & Badlands explore the abominations, specters, and cosmic horrors haunting this frontier land, as well as the monsters people carry inside themselves. It’s a unique blend of psychological horror, dark folklore and folk magic, and unspeakable monsters that threaten so much more than just your life.
The podcast is taking us back into the world we already love and helping us chase down the dark things the movie unleashed. Season one episodes are scheduled to release in 2027.
